Trees
Where wood and leaves come from. They fall when you cut them, and saplings grow new ones.
Trees come in round, pine, wide and giant shapes, and every world picks its own leaf colours from twelve (green, lime, olive, autumn, rust, golden, teal, violet, azure, pink, mint and deep green). Cut through the trunk and the tree comes down.
Kinds by class

Each world renames its plants, so a Broadleaf might be a Virewood or a Sorrelleaf where you are. The ending stays the same, and the same name always means the same plant.
Replanting
Plant a Sapling on grass or dirt. It grows into a young tree that can't be broken yet, and becomes a full tree after about four minutes.
Leaves
Leaves (or plant fibre) fill the scrubber bed of a ship's Life Support: eight of them per unit.
