Battery Dock
A battery, docked. It empties the cell into whatever needs power and fills it again when a generator has some to spare.
One machine, both directions. Bolted into a ship it powers the ship; wired into a base grid it feeds the grid. Your wrecked lander comes with one, which is how it got its old name, the Power Bay.
