Heat and Cold
Many worlds are trying to cook or freeze you, and they hurt every second you stand on them unprotected.
Each world's climate is random. Garden worlds, archipelagos and crystal deserts are harmless. Deserts and red mesas cook you, and ice worlds and moons freeze you. The hazard reaches 300 blocks above the surface, so flying high enough gets you out of it.
